5 K-pop songs that you must listen to!
Hello everyone, and welcome back to K to the POP.
In my last blog, I was talking about the origin of K-pop, which might be a little boring for some of you. So, for this blog, I want to share some of my favorite K-pop songs that you should listen to! I would have to say that it is tough for me to choose because I do like every single song that I have been listened to (Solo artists, Boyband, and Girl group).
Here are my top 5 K-pop boyband songs that you would want to add to your playlist after you listen to them.
1. Spring Breeze (Wanna one) - "Spring Breeze" is a pop dance song. The fusion of each of the member's voices makes the track stand out even more on top of the soft, yet sexy, chorus.
2. Love Scenario (iKon) - "
Love Scenario" is described as a mellow, yet relatively upbeat, with a circuitous melody that guides the rhythmic dance track.3.
Spring Day (BTS) - "Spring Day" mixes various styles in one song (e.g.,
pop, rap, world, and K-pop). Furthermore, the storyline of this song is about loss, missing someone, and clinging to youth. However, the most important is about carrying on.4.
The 7th Sense (NCT U) - "The 7th Sense" has varieties of vocal sounds. The vocal sounds in this song are the combination of a typical high noted, slow
and sensitive rapping, and the deep vibrato.5.
Love shot (EXO) - "
Love Shot" is described as a pop-dance track that features a memorably addictive chorus and heavy 808 bass.
This is my first time being introduced to this genre of music, and I must admit that it is not bad at all! Can't wait to see what you have in store for us next time!
ReplyDeleteNichada, I wonder why these are top 10 on your K-pop list. I would love to know your reasons. Does it because of the lyrics, the music itself, the meaning of the song, or just how handsome these men are?
ReplyDeleteNichada, I have seen lots of your posts on social media on music but never really played any of those songs. I must admit these are great songs and I like the beats; it is more like the RnB genre.
ReplyDeleteI am not familiar with this genre, but I do enjoy the beat of this playlist and really wish I could understand what they are saying. It's been neat getting to know another genre outside of the typical genres in the United States.
ReplyDeleteThis is pretty rad! I love how you are introducing us to different genres of music! It just goes to show that you can't knock it til' you try it! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteNichada, I saw many people posting their songs on social media, including you. To be honest I never took my time and listen to any of it. I actually like them, they are different from the music I normally listen to but in a good way. My favorite is Spring Day.
ReplyDeleteI am having such a great time listening to all of your music recommendations. My favorite of these is "Love Shot". (You had me at 808 bass.) It's so catchy and is now on my workout mix--which is becoming increasingly K-Pop specific as a result of your blog. I don't know if it's because I don't watch music videos anymore, but it seems like K-Pop is really holding to the idea of actually telling an engaging story in each music video. I haven't seen American music videos that are so much like short movies since the early 2000s. (Not since the death of music on MTV.) Thank you for all of the entertainment and the new music!
ReplyDeleteThis is my favorite blog post so far! My favorite song is "Congratulations" by Day6 for two reasons. First, it's so different than the other videos. It has old-school pop vibes with the electric guitar led chorus, the the band is playing the instruments! Second, I like that it's in English so I can understand it without reading the captions. Lol. My second favorite it definitely "Love Shot!" It's so catchy!
